Built because deal evaluation was still happening in spreadsheets.

Search fund operators spend hundreds of hours evaluating businesses before they ever sign an LOI. Most of that work happens in Excel, email chains, and shared folders with no consistent structure.

Jang Capital started as a simple idea: what if every deal in your pipeline was scored the same way, with the same six factors, against your own criteria? What if the financials in a CIM could be extracted in under a minute instead of an afternoon?

That idea became this platform — a deal sourcing and evaluation system built specifically for ETA operators who want a repeatable process from first broker email to signed LOI.

A search fund is a vehicle through which an entrepreneur raises capital to fund a dedicated search for a privately held business to acquire, operate, and grow. The searcher typically takes on the CEO role post-acquisition.
